Ownmost Terms of Use

These terms set out what you and we agree to when you use Ownmost (“the app”), made by Deploy (“we”). By installing and using the app, you agree to these terms.

1. What the app does

The app is a tool for writing a journal, adding photos, and keeping it on your device. You can use it without an account.

2. Free use and purchase

• The app is free to download, and you can write up to 30 entries for free.
• A one-time purchase of Ownmost Full Access lets you write unlimited entries and use every feature, including e-books, templates, widgets and this month’s summary. It’s a single payment, not a subscription.
• Even after you’ve used your free entries, you can keep reading, editing, exporting as text and backing up what you’ve written.
• Payments and refunds are handled by the store you bought from, under that store’s refund policy. If you bought on the App Store, you can request a refund at reportaproblem.apple.com. If you bought on Google Play, you can request one from your order history in Google Play.
• On your other devices that use the same store account, tap Restore purchase in the app’s Settings to use it without paying again.

3. Your entries

• Everything you write and every photo you add belongs to you.
• Your entries are stored only on your device. We can’t see them or take them.

4. Backup and your devices

• Because your entries live only on your device, they can be lost if you lose your device or delete the app.
• We don’t keep a copy of your entries, so we can’t restore them for you. We recommend turning on iCloud or Google Drive backup, or syncing with your other device.
• If you forget your lock passcode, we can’t unlock the app for you.

5. What we ask of you

• Don’t use the app to break the law.
• Don’t modify the app, or use its name to mislead others.

6. Changes to the app

We may change or remove features to make the app better. We’ll mention important changes in the app’s update notes.

7. Limitation of liability

• The app is provided as is. We work to keep it running without errors, but we can’t guarantee that it always will.
• To the extent permitted by law, we’re not responsible for entries lost because a device was lost or broken, or because backup wasn’t turned on.
• Services provided by other companies, such as iCloud, Google Drive, Firebase and your operating system’s speech recognition, are governed by those companies’ terms.

8. App store terms

If you got the app from the App Store, Apple’s Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies. If you got it from Google Play, the Google Play Terms of Service also apply.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea.

10. Changes to these terms

If these terms change, we’ll post the new version on this page with a new effective date.
